Chris Landreth- The End

After watching Ryan from Chris Landreth I have explored him a bit further as an animator. He comes up regularly in animation books as an influential artist of the trade. The End was created in 1995 while Landreth worked with Alias and the new Maya updates, he had access to state of the art software as it was being released. For a 90's animation I think this is pretty well done. What I found more interesting was the ideas that Landreth managed to portray. In a short six minute animation he was able to tap into some of our most sensitive insecurities, he also gives an insight into the life of an animator and the struggle to continue creating new and exciting story lines that capture the intended audience.
